Overview: Cleartrip is an online travel aggregator based in Mumbai, India, offering booking services for flights, train tickets, hotel reservations, and holiday packages. As of 2024, Cleartrip continues to operate as a private company with approximately 1,000 employees.

Presently, Cleartrip addresses the problem in the following ways:

1. Separate Booking Interfaces:
   • Users can book flights, trains, buses, and cabs separately through dedicated interfaces. Each mode of transport has its own booking process, making it cumbersome for users to plan multi-modal trips efficiently.
2. Independent Search and Filters:
   • Cleartrip offers search and filter options for each transport mode. Users can search for the best flights, trains, buses, or cabs based on their preferences, such as cost, time, and availability. However, these searches are conducted independently, requiring users to manually coordinate their travel plans.
3. Real-Time Updates:
   • The platform offers real-time updates for individual modes of transport. Users receive notifications about delays, price changes, and availability for flights, trains, buses, and cabs. However, these updates are not integrated across different transport modes, making it challenging to manage complex travel itineraries.

Currently, users face several challenges when planning multi-modal trips, such as fragmented user experience, lack of integration between different modes of transport, and inefficient booking processes.
